About Us

John Briggs & Son is built on three generations of stonemasons dedicated to restoring and preserving Britain’s historic buildings. Our story began with a father-and-son team managing major heritage projects across Norfolk, where we developed deep experience in traditional techniques, conservation principles, and multi-trade coordination.

Over time,we saw that commercial pressures within larger companies often conflicted with the level of care and integrity these buildings deserved.

To stay true to our principles — craftsmanship first, conservation always — we founded our own business. This allowed us to offer a more personal, transparent, and customer-focused service, putting building needs and client relationships ahead of profit-driven decisions.

Today, we continue that commitment, delivering specialist restoration with honesty, passion, and respect for the historic fabric we’re trusted to preserve.
